How can we have USTCC and the new Series ATCC? Maybe you can join them

Forgive my ignorance, what is the ATCC? I searched it on this site and googled it with no results that made sense. Can I hear more?

Sorry, I found it off of another site. I don't understand the need. Isn't it splitting the same 20 cars? Also we are in February and no schedule yet. It doesn't really work for me as my car is too highly prepped for the series and I don't have a VIN as my car was built from a body in white. Oh, well I will just wait for information on the USTCC to see if it will work for me.

I sure wish I would have kept up with this a little better. I would have loved to run with the USTCC at Barber in May. My series (Grand Bayou Race Series) is up in April and I could have worked the budget a little more for a few of these events. I want to try and run at least 4 or 5 USTCC events next year even if I have to take my car to California dn store it out there and just fly in. Hopefully in 2010 there will be some more east coast USTCC events.

could an East coast driver team up with a West coast driver to form a team? Each driver running their own car at their side of the US events, then the "team" would pic the best 7 races of both drivers for the points at the end of the year?
