The guys at Speed Sport Life (who try all types of motorsports) entered a slot car race and tried their hand at miniature motorsports victory. The question is: Is slot car racing really motorsports? You decide.

You don't steer. Just control speed.

When I did it, which was a very long time ago, the cars didn't have brakes either. Car slowes from drag of electric motor.

Also, no shifting but I will give them that one. You can do some awesome racing in single speed karts.

I'm surprised that there are still slot car tracks around. I thought they were long gone. I did this a bunch when I was a kid, and still have my cars. It obviously doesn't compare to racing in a real car, but it's still a lot of fun.
