Went out there today with about 22 people. Kevin let us run 3 races for $60 on the 60MPH karts. We did a practice , qualifying, and two race groups. He let us do a rolling start. I had a blast!!!

Jeff told me the surface is already screwed up out there with washboarding in the braking areas and the pavement coming up mid corner.

I wanted to go with you guys but I decide to start drinking in the morning.

Wow, that place looks nice. I've been on the Denton track but never heard of that place. Got arm pump just watching.

Went with the Miata group.

Surface seemed ok to me.

They are looking at starting a league on Tues and Weds nights. Call them if interested.

I have to head into the Dallas area the first weekend in August for work. I know there is an event at TWS, but I will have a rental w/ an auto, so that wouldn't be too much fun. Where exactly are the karting facilities? I am going to be in Frisco starting the 5th.

Thanks!

John

So true... A couple of weekends ago there were a couple people running DE at Charlotte Motor Speedway with rental cars. The REALLY tempting part of this is that I will be in Bryan, TX on Th & F and then heading to Frisco.

John consider this....

TWS rents 2011 Mustangs and "SpecMiatas".
