Heading up to The Glen for 9/28 weekend. I am considering staying in my trailer. How is the facility there? Any tips for that particular track?

Well, I guess that is better than sweating my tail off in high humidity.

I was there last year and it was not to bad. It rained a lot though. I am hoping that I get a nice dry weekend on this trip. I'll bring the heater.

A heater in your trailer makes a big difference. I've camped there many times in mine. I would much rather stay at the track than at a hotel, either in my trailer or RV.

Doug, didn't know you were headed up too. When are you getting up there?

So no drunken "I love you man" hugs on Saturday night then stinky. I did scope out the facility map for the shower and I think I know where it is.

I'll be heading up Friday Morning and bringing a Big Buddy Heater.

Are we allowed to have a fire pit there?

Showers - small but the water is HOT are in the Restroom building at Wedgewood Road and Richardson Road (First left after you come through the tunnel). Also on the left after you go through the tunnel heading out into the Boot and, in the facility near the Bus Stop. There may be more. One, if not all, will probably be open.
